First, kudos to Naruto for choosing to be diplomatic rather than act on his desire for revenge. There's a hokage in him yet!
That said, this chapter was all kinds of frustrating. Slug is a broken record. Team Gai has been useless. And while I know Kishi is establishing how Naruto's way is different from everyone else's, he's portraying everyone (adults expecially) like one-dimentional simpletons. And come on! You guys are trained professionals. Can't someone offer to stand guard or act as back up if talking doesn't work? Where's the tactics?
Geez!
Why is Naruto doing everything alone? Doesn't that negate everything he worked for in part 1?

Filler chapter is filler.
Yeah, the biggest disappointment for me is Team Gais uselessness. I think the slug may cave soon though.
Hm. This is turning out to be more of a battle of ideals then anything else, which is why Nagato told Konan to stay back too, I think. I'm interested on seeing how the next chapters conversation will pan out. It feels like it will be a turning point for Naruto, like no more becoming strong to surpass Sasuke and concentrating more on his supposed dream. Well, I guess what I'm saying is this generation of Konoha's ready to follow Naruto, but is he a leader worthy to follow?
By the way, just how is he back in sage mode??
444 is like half a chapter... nothing really to say till we get the next part. You might want to do 444 and 445 together.

i dnt think team gai is useless i think kishi is trying to focus more on naruto and his caracter development while everyone else is focused on revenge which is why everyone appears to be one dimensional but i am looking foreward to the new chapters

Nibbles, you're not alone. I'm somewhat curious as to what happened to Yahiko, but more than anything else I want Nagato to finish already so we can hear Naruto's answer. It better be a damn good answer for making us go through this.
