Naruto Chapter 432: The Return of the Rasen Shuriken

Summary: Naruto continues to battle the Six Paths of Pain with new Rasengan techniques. (Read 432 here)

Serenphoria says:

New throwy shuriken? Very cool. That's what it should have been all along and I'm glad that Naruto has been able to evolve and perfect his signature technique. And the expandy part, (which actually makes sense since no one is there to keep all that energy together), was a nice surprise.

The double rasengan wasn't nearly as cool or effective, but I'll give it to Naru since he was getting tired.

I'm not so sure how I feel about the Shika!men. Part of me thinks it's in character that Shikamaru would use a broken leg as an excuse not to try to hard to do something, but given the seriousness of the situation, it would have been more in character if he somehow got himself to the battle. He's mainly a shadow user after all - not much leg work needed.

And Shika!dad saying to stay out of the way... I keep hoping that if Sasuke was about the short-comings of getting powerful alone, Naruto would be the one to demonstrate strength in team work. Plus, Naruto could use their help now that he's powered down.

Maybe we'll see the Shika!men there yet. And maybe we'll finally see Team Gai. Come save the day!

I'm a little weary about all the Pains being defeated. They're all more or less puppets and have all come back to "life" after being defeated. Is what Naruto doing making a difference? Where is the real Pain and why isn't anyone going after him?

Ha ha yeah. You were basically a week late with 431's review-thing, but then, there wasn't a whole lot to be said about it was there?

Anyway, 'bout 432... Is the tide turning again? Is it time for teamwork to shine? It's down to two Peins... What does the other one do again? Which was he? It's so confusing. Team Gai hurry the hell up!

Hahahaha!! I knew he'd throw it! I KNEW it!!!

Wooot, Naruto is officially pwning the Pains **dances**. Hopefully it won't be the last of his Sageness cos the idea of him being lame after all that would be the biggest anticlimax ever.

Come onnnn Team Gai!! Plus I wonder where Danzou is....

Hmm. I was kinda hoping for a new technique but making Rasenshuriken usable is more important anyway.

I'd like to think that the rookies will bail out Naruto if it all goes to bust. Hence Kishi showing them banged up, but more or less battle worthy.

I'm worried about the Pain's coming back to life too. Especially since the guy who resurrects them is still alive and kicking. Something tells me that long haired Pain is out of commission though.

Damn. Is Naruto's time in the limelight over already? He had only two chapters to kick ass :< Will he have to fall back on Kyuubi, or does he have something else up his sleeve?

TATERBIRD: *is glad that Naruto is FINALLY pwning, but also thinks that it reflects badly on Konoha that the rest of them couldn't take out six guys and had to wait for their cartoon screw up to effortlessly pwn teh baddiez. It takes a village to raise a child...to save the (squished) village. Yeah* Oh, yeah. Kishimoto- stop killing Kakashi! Go kill somebody else! And Team Gai, stop sipping your smoothies and laughing at your incompetent village and go bust some heads. Thank you.

Yay, Naruto can throw the Blender no jutsu now! Now he can repeatedly throw it at Sasuke so that he can dodge it for twenty chapters (because THAT is where this is going). Maybe we'll get to see what Itachi force-fed Naruto?

Although for the slacking Shikas- I dunno, if the leg's broken, he'd be better off in Command Central, telling the other cannon fodder what to do. But there's no reason Shikadad can't go out there and choke people (unless shadows don't choke possessed dead people, which is what I think teh ebil Peins are, right? Cause that WOULD make them totally useless.).

As fpr "Where in the World is Carmen San Danzo"-screw Danzo! I want to know after all of that "THE TRUE SECRET OF PEIN'S POWER, ZOMG!!!one!!eleventy!", why it is that nobody's gotten around to, oh, I don't know, USING that knowledge? Naruto showed up and more or less did exactly what everyone else did, only way better because he has Force powers now. But it was useless last time, and logically should be useless this time, unless you can just drain Pein of power by killing him off until he drops dead of exhaustion and/or boredom. Why didn't anyone brief him while he was still the Narunator?

Dammit, Earth Logic, take a hike. I'm looking at the pretty pictures.

I suddenly had a vision in my head of Shikaku shadow possessing one of the Peins, then making that Pein pull all his pins out, and then that Pein falling to the ground like a dispossessed voodoo doll.

If he tried it he'd probably be killed...

@Nibbles- That. Would be. AWESOME. (Except for the death part.) That would be like punching out Cthulhu (thank you, TV Tropes and too much time on my hands at work! http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu )!

Oh my gawd tvtropes... My hubby is on that site all the time.

When we're hanging on a 'is Naruto going to get killed?!' cliffie is when Team Gai will make an entrance (at Konan and possibly Nagato). Possibly in the next issue.

'Course, when Team Gai finds Konan (and Nagato, 'cause I'm sure they're close) The Peins (+Nagato), and Konan are going to make a hasty retreat... Possibly leaving Naruto (and friends should they jump in) going 'WTF?'
