Naruto Chapter 457: The Meeting of the Five Kages
Summary: The five kages gather for a meeting. Naruto begs the Raikage for Sasuke's life.

I'm back! And too much has gone on for me to write anything intelligent, so let me summarize:
Sharingan: What, does everyone with a covered eye get one now? Lady!kage has one too, and Naruto's going to get one after those bandages come off. Sheesh.
Sai: Loving MotherHen!Protective!Sai, but for someone who supposedly can't emote, he really sucks at keeping secrets. I also love the fact that Kakashi could be the one that finally tips the scale for Sai's loyalties.
Zetzu: What the?!?
Naruto: I was also a little disappointed and indignant that Naruto bowed so easily, though for some reason, I think he's also totally keeled over in this latest chapter. Don't blame him...has he actually rested after beating Pain?

Ah, the Sharingan. I remember thinking it was cool when only Sasuke and Kakashi had it way back when. Now its got to the point where I'm looking suspiciously at Naruto's bandaged eye. The funny part is that it could happen what with Itachi holed up in there and all.
OH GOD NARUTO WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Sasuke isn't worth this! Hell, he isn't even worth half of what you're doing for him! Graaaaaah Kishimoto!!!
On a completely different note: Kumo nin are totally awesome yo.
It's kinda cool to see samurai in a world dominated by ninja. It's even better that they look like proto-stormtroopers. They have to have some pretty slick moves if the ninjas are wary of them...
Am I the only one who wants to see Danzou kick Sasuke's ass?

Oh, Jedi, you are not the only one who wants Sasuke to get his ass handed to him by Danzo. I want it like burning. I keep reading hoping that Sasuke will get stomped by everyone.
As for the bowing thing, well, I was just pleased that Naruto tried being polite for once instead of his usual tactic of "DO WHAT I SAY OR IT'S CHARISMA ATTACK FOR YOU!" at top volume (even if it would have been better in this case. I SEE WHUT U DID THAR, KISHIMOTO.). But seriously, I don't know why Naruto thought that would even work. Sasuke tried to kill Raikage's brother. It looks like whole ninja wars have been started for less. Nor do I get why the other two decided to guilt trip the Raikage about the whole Hyuuga thing. Why would they even feel bad, except that they gained nothing? Your logic, it fails, Kishimoto. Unless they're all "We didn't kick your ass then, and you had better hope we don't decide to do it now, man," only that doesn't work because Pein nuked their village, even if he brought everyone back from the dead as like, shambling ninja radioactive zombies, or whatever (that would be so cool!), so they're not arguing from a position of strength. Either way, it's a logic fail. /srs bizness rant.
Sharingan is like a virus, I swear. At this point, I think someone (coughcoughSakuracough) should come up with a vaccine, or something. I bet you Kabuto has it somewhere, and that head Iron Man Village guy has it under his bandages in a third freakin' eye. And the samurai? They have it too. Every single one. But they don't have Mangkywhatever because they couldn't kill their best friends. Because they don't have any friends, they are that badass. The only thing that would be more hardcore is if Kishimoto managed to drag pirates, or clowns, or pirate-clowns into this whole thing.
And yet, I still though the whole thing was fun to read. Plot is happening again!

And the ending has me seriously questioning the country of Iron's supposed 'neutrality'.
I have just finished reading it and thought how amazing it is. i am seriously addicted to Naruto! I just hope Naruto loses faith in Sasuke. Why does naruto still go through everything for sasuke. And i also hope Danzou executes sasuke.
